Catalog Note:
To mark Rookwood’s 50th anniversary in 1930, a special kiln opening was scheduled for Thanksgiving Day on November 27, during which stockholders and guests could view the latest company creations. Each piece was marked with a special ink stamp showing a kiln in which the number 50 appears. This vase is one of those important offerings.
