Catalog Note:
There are two letters that accompany this lot. The first is from 22 June 1964 and is handwritten by Jean K. MacNeary discussing the work and the initial provenance relating to Dr. Milton Luria. The second is a photocopy of a handwritten letter by Nancy B. Crockett discussing the lining and stretching of the works by Mary C. Liberatore (niece of Leonard Clayton, founder of Leonard Clayton Gallery and later Clayton-Liberatore Gallery).
