The Auction Consignment Process
Begin the process by sending us photographs and a description of your item(s) using our online estimate request form, sending us an email, sending us information via postal service, or by calling us to discuss. Please include the following information along with your images: artist or maker name, dimensions, and any other relevant details (signature, provenance, condition, how you acquired the item, etc.).
After reviewing your submission, one of our Specialists will contact you to discuss the best way to move forward with your potential consignment within two to three business days.
Once an item has been accepted for auction, a Specialist will establish a pre-sale estimate, assign a proposed auction date, and provide a deadline by which the item must be received by the auction house. Please let us know if you need assistance arranging shipping or delivery.
All items are carefully inspected, photographed, and further cataloged. A consignment agreement will carefully outline the terms of the sale, including the commission rate and any additional sale-related fees that may apply.
Following an auction, consignors will be notified with the sale price or status of the lot(s) offered. Consignors are paid thirty (30) business days after the auction, provided payment has been received from the buyer.
